Jakob’s Story
Jakob Hinman grew up in Sacramento. He went to Film School in Orlando where he met Xandri before moving back to Sacramento and then worked on a cruise ship for a year. He now lives in Vegas as a support technician for Disguise helping to maintain The Sphere.
Xandri 学淳’s Story
Xandri was born in Singapore and grew up internationally, moving from New Zealand, to Hong Kong / Macau, to Shanghai. She’s now living in the United States, but that doesn’t stop her from travelling. She started in Orlando for Film School, moved to Atlanta for the Film Industry, and now lives in Las Vegas as a Wedding Consultant.
Our Story
We met in 2018 when he joined her class in Film School. We bonded over D&D, boardgames, post-shoot breakfast dates at Perkin’s, and escape rooms. When 2020 came around, we took on the challenges of a long-distance relationship through the pandemic. We grew up, embraced our individualities, and navigated our struggles in parallel, but at the end of the day, we’re still just two silly, nerdy, fun-loving best friends trying to enjoy and navigate the world together.
